The School for Advanced Studies is committed to providing our students with hands-on experiences. We are proud to offer several unique academic programs in partnership with local organizations in Northwest Arkansas.
We are honored to be part of the second statewide cohort of the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission’s School of Conservation Leadership Program, which gives us access to curriculum resources from the Arkansas Outdoor Education Initiative. Through this program, students explore Arkansas’s natural resources, develop a deeper understanding of conservation, and lead the way as the next generation of environmental stewards.
The School for Advanced Studies proudly opened its EAST Workshop in the 2025–26 school year, funded through a competitive Arkansas grant. The workshop empowers students to use cutting-edge tools and enterprise-level software, from 3D printing and VR to Adobe Creative Suite and AutoCAD, to create real-world solutions for the Northwest Arkansas community. With our new workshop, students in grades 7–12 can innovate with purpose and make a lasting impact.
The Middle School Arts Integration Partnership with Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art is a two-year program for students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. During the program, museum educators will visit our school to work directly with students, and students will have the opportunity to attend Crystal Bridges field trips specifically tailored to their needs and interests. The School of Advanced Studies faculty and students will collaborate to create the culminating project of the partnership—a public art piece for the community.
